Divers Take Hours to Retrieve Body of Man Who Drowned in a Ruiru Hotel Swimming Pool

Incidents of drownings have been on the rise in the country over the past few weeks as per the reports that we have been receiving from many quarters.

Just a few days ago, three University of Nairobi students who were attending a Seventh Day Adventist church Crusade near Lake Victoria are said to have drowned after the event.

Just a few meters away from the area, two fishermen drowned while two kids are said to have drowned under unclear circumstances at a hotel pool in Kiambu County.

This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from Ruiru Town in Kiambu County, a family is in agony after the death of their kin in a hotel swimming pool.

The family is crying for justice of their kin who died at the hotel's swimming pool under unclear circumstances.

The man is said to have been seen on CCTV footage getting info the pool at around 3PM on the ill fated day but never came out of the pool alive.

However, divers at the undisclosed hotel in Ruiru Town took hours to retrieve the body front the swimming pool as per the reports from the sister of the man who drowned.

The family is accusing the hotel of negligence after taking hours to retrieve the body of the young man who had drowned hours earlier.

The body is said to have been retrieved at round 9PM on the day after drowning in the afternoon of the same day.
