Doctor Mercy Mwangangi has surprised many Kenyans after her latest message on vaccine updates. Yesterday while addressing the nation, Doctor Mercy Mwangangi disclosed that our government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta is performing well as far as the vaccinating process is concerned.
The health CAS in her report disclosed that Kenya has been ranked number seven in the whole world in terms of vaccination. This message has lingered reactions among Kenyans. Most of them are wondering how Kenya can be position seven and yet Kenya has only vaccinated about eight hundred thousand people.
Kenya started vaccinating its citizens in March where President Uhuru Kenyatta led all civil servants in getting the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine.
Kenya gave priority to teachers, frontline doctors, persons aged above 58 years among others. Following the above message, Kenyans have come up with different opinions as some support while others critic the news.
As stated by Standard Digital News"Kenya is probably number seven in the whole world in terms of vaccination. We are actually on the leaderboard of vaccination in the world,” said CAS Mwangangi.
