The cabinet secretary to the TreasuryYatani has confirmed today that the national government had disbursed 133 billion shillings to the county government as part of the money for 2020/2021 financial year. The ministry has assured the county governments that the national government is doing all it can in ensuring that the Devolution is being implimented by various county government.
This is good news to the health workers who are on strike in various counties. They have complained that the county government have failed to take health issues seriously.Some county government have not paid them for more than three months. It is expected once everything has been put in place,their salaries Will be paid .
