Dangerous Effects of Taking Too Much Tea

Tea is one of the favorite drinks we all love to have especially in the morning hours. Many people always say that if they don't take tea they will have a bad day. In Kenyan communities tea is a beverage served in almost all households. However many people don't know the side effects of taking a lot of tea. Today let's learn;

1) Causes constipation. Caffeine and theophylline found are chemicals found in tea. When you consume too much tea, theophylline can cause extreme constipation as it dries your body and dehydrates you.

2)Causes blood pressure imbalance. One of the most dangerous side effects of drinking too much tea is that it causes an imbalance in your blood pressure. It increases your heart rate leading to high blood pressure.

3)May cause miscarriage. Tea helps to relax your muscles, increasing blood flow and detoxfying the body. When you are pregnant relaxing your muscles too much or having too many detoxfying elements in the body can lead to miscarriage.

4) Insomnia. When your body is overloaded with caffeine, especially during the afternoon it can cause sleep disorders and make you not get a good sound sleep at night.

5) Anxiety. Tea activates the brain cells to calm you down but when you take alot of tea, it can create an imbalance in brain chemicals which leads to anxiety.

6) Pimples. In small quantities, tea can help detoxify your body, but excess tea generates extreme heat and creates an imbalance in the body chemicals which results in the outbreak of pimple.

My people let's minimize the excessive taking of tea. In the morning we can porridge (uji) and during the day we can have fruit juices. Share the article to your friends.
