The use of cannabis for recreational purposes is prohibited in most countries with others especially in the middle East imposing stricter penalities for non-compliance.

Others are New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, saint Vincent, and the Grenadines, Dan Marino, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand the United kingdom, Uruguay and Vanuatu.
The debate on legalization of marijuana in Kenya has been on for some sometimes but the authorities aren't keen on yielding.
