Updates: CS Mutahi Kagwe Makes New Announcement on Curfew in Kenya

The Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has announced that the current curfew has been extended for a further 30 days.

This comes at a time when most Kenyans had pleaded with the government to try and lift the curfew which has been in existence for about a year now.

Mutahi Kagwe has made the announcement together in the company of the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology CS Joe Mucheru.

Others present were Prof Hubert Gijzen of Unesco East Africa at the Media Council Kenya firing the launch of the Covid-19 information portal, aimed at aiding the media to disseminate factual and verifiable information to the public and curb the rise of disinformation.
