Ministry of health is hopeful that those Kenyans who received the first jab of Astrazeneca will get the second dose soon.
The good news comes at a time when the health sector is struggling with the vaccine manufacturing countries in an effort to purchase the second dose of covid-19 to Kenyans.
The ministry of health says ,the government is hoping to take the covid-19 vaccine that the Congo government is planning to return to the covax facility after the administration of the vaccine was paused in some European countries. This was after some instances of blot clotting were reported.
Kenyan top government official said, the vaccine may land in Kenya soon but he does not know the exert date when they will arrive before the expiry date of the vaccine reaches.
This is good news to Kenyans who are in dilemma over the second dose which they are yet to be procured from any manufacturer.
