Alpha, Delta and Gamma strains of Covid

Alpha strain

This variant was first recogonised in Oxford and has a risen odd of primary care deaths with a an adjusted hazard of twice risk groups requiring care in the ICU although the strain has no links to deaths even though it has a high transmission rate than the initial Sars strain identified in China.

Delta variant

The variant has bypassed the old Alpha variant first discovered on India with a higher contagious rate than the one in Oxford leading to severe forms of the disease mostly affecting the youth.

Gamma

another variant put down by vaccine effectiveness and therefore its spread is put to minimized levels even though this new strain seem to take over the Alpha strain.

The Alpha strain undergoes mutation making it adapt to the host's immune system where it soon replicates and finds a new host especially after high production of the gene Orf9b which has a high viral protein load allowing the virus to thrive however, Astra Zenca vaccine and pfizers jab show increased positive results in increasing protection against the new forms of the virus when given in two complete doses.
