Five Famous Kenyans People Who Died Of Cancer

Kenyans has large number of prominent people including influential, investors, politicians and entrepreneurs. Although covid 19 is one of the toughest disease ever, but cancer is one of the deadlist disease in the world. Cancer a disease that causes body cells to divide uncontrollably. Today I am going to share with you some of the Kenyan prominent people who died of cancer.

1. Ken Okoth.

Ken Okoth was a Kenya politician who served as the member of parliament for kibra constituency from 2013 to the date of his death.The late Kibra member of parliament, succumbed to colorestal cancer at Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with cancer. His beloved blood brother was the first to make the announcement of his demise. He strangled a lot before of his death. May his soul always rest in peace.

2. Joyce Laboso.

Joyce Laboso was a Kenyan politician who served as the second governor of Bomet county from to July 2019. She also another politician who died of the deadlist disease cancer. According to his family information. Joyce Laboso was diagnosed with cancer in the year 1991. That means that she has struggled with cancer for more than 28 years. She died while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with ovarian cancer. May her soul always rest in peace.

3. Grace Kipchoim.

She was born on 1962 and she had three children. She was a member of representative in the national assembly of Baringo south. She is remembered for her battle against cattle rustling during her term. She succumbed to colon cancer on 20th April 2018 at Nairobi Hospital. May her soul also rest in peace.

4. Janet Kanini.

Janet was an NTV presenter. She was married to Ikua and they had 2 children. Tv host Janet Kanini Ikua. She had spent most of her time in hospital due to lung cancer. She died on 1st April 2017, after suffering from long cancer. Janet openly shared her triumphs and struggles in battling the disease. May her Soul always rest in peace.

5. Waweru Mburu.

He had a bachelors degree. He was likely the most dubious radio character in Kenya when it came to matters regarding politics. Similarly he was the former head of Radio Citizen succumbed to gastric cancer at Mp Shah Hospital on 28th September 2016. He was one of the best presenter who will always be remembered by his fans. He struggled a lot in this journey of cancer. May his soul rest in peace.
