The war against corona virus pandemic is slowly being won in the country with the Ministry of Health doing anything possible to ensure that no more life is lost as a result of the virus. Normalcy have resumed in countries were the disease originated from and same is yet to happen in Kenya.
In today's update, a total of fifty four persons have tested positive for the virus lowering the positivity rate from 21% in july to only 2.2%. The tested sample today were 2501 hence brings to an accumulative samples of 2537382 since the virus was reported in the country. But on a sad note, seven lives have been lost bring to total of 5109 fatalities.
According to the data from the Ministry, only a total of 2734 are currently infected by the virus. This figure is arrived at by comparing total confirmed cases with total recoveries minus total fatalities. With this, the country is the good progress and this might see the economy being fully opened.
