Unable To Pay Bills, Pwani University Student with Kidney Disease Stuck At a Coast Hospital

Daniel Musee who is a second year student at Pwani University with kidney disease is stranded at Coast General Hospital due to his inability to pay bills according to a Facebook post by Oude Oude Perez.

“He comes from a very humble background in Loc4 village in Ndaragwa Central, Nyandarua County,” the post read. Although is still admitted at the hospital, Musee needs to be transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) for specialized treatment.

So far Musee has accrued a bill of 85,000 shillings which he must settle before moving to Nairobi for treatment. “Anyone who is touched by the plight of Daniel and willing to contribute something may God bless you abundantly,” the post read.

Pictures attached alongside the post show Musee in the hospital ward with another man. Another one showed Musee in the dialysis room. Dialysis is a form of treatment whereby a machine filters and purifies blood when your kidneys are unable to do so.

We wish a quick recovery to Musee.
