She died at the age of 23 years and survived lung, leg and stomach cancer but unfortunately, her surviving lung started filling up with water and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
She was hosted by a variety of online TVs including Tuko where many Kenyans came out to donate money for her treatment.
Wanjiku has been mourned as a strong woman who fought cancer courageously and always smiled no matter the challenges she went through during her diagnosis and treatment.
"You were a woman who fought in lots of wars. Shiku The Warrior. You were a winner in life, goodbye my sister, best friend, you are a role model for everyone. You will stay in our hearts forever. Rest easy Wanjiku Ruth" Wrote Nancy.
"Can't believe that I have really lost a true friend of mine,,A friend we shared memories together, who brought cancer ? Wanjiku Ruth why have you left me? Why did you decide to go? I have got alot of questions ringing in my mind can't imagine I'll never see nor communicate with you. Till we meet again" Wrote Ann.
May she rest in peace and may God comfort her family during this hard period of mourning.
