Kenyans have received bad news from Monday's Covid 19 updates shared by the Ministry of Health. According to the report shared, a total of 73 patients are in ICU, out of which 49 are on ventilatory support. A thing that has sparked alot of reactions from people across the country. Also 369 patients are separately on supplementary oxygen, out of which 533 are in general wards and 15 in HDU.
Meanwhile, 437 patients have recovered from the disease out of which 324 were from the Home Based Isolation Care. While 123 were discharged from various health facilities across the country.
Kagwe spoke when he visited Kigumo sub county hospital in Murang'a, for the laying of the foundation stone ceremony. The country's fatalities have risen to 5109 after another seven patients succumbed to the disease. Kagwe said that there are 1226 patients currently admitted in various hospital across the country.
Another 2586 patients are on the home based care programme.
