Many countries including Uganda are still struggling with Covid-19 infections. Furthermore, the country recorded delta variant some few months ago. The variant is highly transmittable and also it has killed millions of people around the world.
President of Uganda, Museveni was being expected to address his people today about Covid-19 infections.
According to the source, president Museveni have revealed that his government is working extra hard to secure millions of vaccines. He has revealed that, by the end of this year, the country will have received more than twelve millions doses and many will be vaccinated.
Furthermore, the president have accused some "false prophets" who said that there is no Covid-19 in the country some few months ago and this made many to contract this deadly virus . I quote his statement from the source, In November last year, Covid-19 infections were high because we had rebel. False prophets were telling people to congregate saying, Museveni is a dictator who is stopping people from democraticilly infect one another ,,so people listened to the false prophets" Museveni revealed this message. This comes in after the country introduced more measures to reduce Covid-19 infections.
