Kericho and Bomet leaders clashed with the two counties conflicting in call for construction of referral hospital. Kericho leaders want the referral hospital as agreed to be constructed in Londiani while Bomet leaders want it near them.
In today's event , senate majority leader Aaron Cheruiyot called off Bomet leaders saying the hospital had been settled and was out of contention to again cause division. Konoin MP Brighton Yegon said the marginalized southrift county deserved to host the Referral Hospital or be brought nearer to them maybe Kapkatet.
The back and forth saw the two county leaders conflicting in their requests. This was in addition of other projects the leaders want , among them the stalled Kyogong-Chebunyo road, upgrade of local hospitals which are in sorry state among other requests.
