Its a wake of another good news in Kenya and Kakamega in particular after plans of opening up a new dental department is underway. This opening is set to happen at Hamptons hospital of the Mwale medical and technology city in Kakamega county on June 15th, 2021. Speaking through their official Facebook page, the Mwale medical and technology city team shared this good news to Kenyans.
The Hamptons hospital's Center for Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry, aims to educate patients in preventive practices. This will help them maintain a healthy mouth throughout their lives. Services that will be expected to be offered to patients include general and restorative gum and teeth treatments, cosmetic dentistry, restoration of dental implants, facial aesthetics, Oral Cancer diagnosis and abnormal snoring treatments.
More over, the dental department will be expected to effectively treat and remedy multiple missing teeth, broken down teeth and gum disease. Also, painful chewing, cases in advanced stages of deterioration or with complex needs will be expected to be attended to. To add on, routine teeth cleaning services will also be performed. The dental department will be commissioned in the new Southern wing of Hamptons hospital currently being completed. The dental department will become the 18th department to be operationalized since the hospital opened in July 2019.
