Following a video that had gone viral of a man blaming Nairobi West hospital of showing zero concern to his ailing father that he had brought to the hospital to get some treatment.
Nairobi West hospital has responded to the allegations that its staff members showed the same negligence when they said patient was brought to their facility.
Nairobi West Hospital says it is aware of a video circulating on social the media of family members suggesting the patient was alive and was no attendance by medical practitioners on the site.
The facility has responded by saying they take all the incidents of this nature very seriously and following the thorough internal investigation including the review of the process to confirm the actual event,transpired that the patient had been received into the the accident and emergency area as Dead on arrival and it was further found that there was no negligence on the part of the hospital in any manner.
They added that, they sympathize with the family friends and those associated with the patient and are continuing to offer full support including counselling as they try to come to the terms with the sudden loss of their family member.
Nairobi West hospital has also responded by saying that, the hospital professionalism as a Healthcare facility and out of respect for the family and their dignity they will not comment further on the side case.
They have said they will continue with their mission and Vision to maintain their standing as an affordable and accessible hospital that plays all patients from every background and Walk of Life at the forefront of their care.
In the video a man who was seen crying that the hospital have neglected them upon arrival at the facility that lead to death of their beloved patient.
