It involves the removing of an organ from one person and surgically placing it in another whose organ has failed

However there is only one body organ that can't be transplanted from one person to another.

Which is the only human body part that cannot be transplanted?

The brain is the only organ in the human body that cannot be transplanted.

Why can't the brain be transplanted?

Reasons range from considerable obstacles in fusing the brain’s severed nerve endings to a new spinal cord to establish normal nervous connections between the brain and the new body.

Also another reason is simply because the brain's nerve tissue does not heal after transplantation hence it's not always transplanted.
