Wife of president Joe Biden, Jill Biden had two cancerous lesions removed, White House Says

During the cancer screening, First lady Jill Biden was found with a small lesion above her right eyelid and the other on her chest which was required to be removed by skin surgery.

According to the white house, Surgeons examined the eye and the chest of first lady Jill Biden and Dr. Kevin O’Connor, President Biden’s physician concluded that their examination showed that two cancerous lesions found in her body were basal cell carcinoma.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor added that the examination on her left eyelid which was examined by margins was sent to a Standard microscopic checkup.

With the discovery from the scientist, Basal cell carcinoma is treatable if found earlier by just the use of a shallow incision and seldom causes serious. It is the most common type of skin cancer that is a threat when in the fourth stage.

President Biden also went to see his wife at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda where his wife was undergoing surgery for two small lesions for around 9 hours and then went back to the white house for his daily routine.

Secretary Joe Biden to him to have patience in that his wife will be fine and will return to the Whitehouse as soon as possible.
