Italy has recorded almost similar number of deaths and new infections fora second day as they hope that the country will endure the difficulties that have been brought as a result on 31st March 2020, the death toll in Italy increased by 837 to 12,428, the Civil Protection Agency said, with the daily tally rising although slightly for a second
The number of new cases was steadily increasing by 4,053 against 4,050 yesterday, and bringing total infections since the outbreak came on February 21 to 105,792.
Some new infections were registered as 5, 217 and 5,974 for Saturday and Sunday respectively leading to flattening of growth curve of the new infections.
The number of patients who have recovered fully stands at 15, 729 nationwide by tuesday 31st March. Presently around 4,023 patients are under Intensive Care Unit.
Italy has so far registered more number of deaths than the other parts of the world where the virus has taken course.
