Kakamega governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya has this morning announced the death of his Health County Executive Member (CECM) Dr. Collins Matemba’s mother known as Mama Clare Luvega through a Facebook post.
“My heartfelt condolences and sympathies to my CECM for Health Services Dr Collins Matemba and his family for the loss of their mother Mama Clare Luvega,” Oparanya wrote.
He added that losing her was very painful.
“May God grant you immeasurable peace, fortitude and strength to bear with her loss,” he concluded.
Matemba also wrote the news on his Facebook page saying “Mama you've fought the battle. It was really painful seeing you waste away. Go well till we meet again.”
His followers on Facebook page also penned their condolence messages wishing the family strength in this difficult time.
Mlengu Didi said “My heartfelt condolences to the family and cec.”
Another follower by the name Adan Sigale Ketsan said “May God grant the family fortitude to withstand the loss of the mother.”
Sean Wesonga said “Pole my friend Ian Oparanya and family.”
