Famous journalist and CNN correspondent in Kenya Larry Madowo has made a worrying documentary in regards to Uganda's Covid-19 situation.

In his documentary, Larry exposed how Uganda residents were suffering after the deadly coronavirus ravaged the country in a fierce second wave.

To report, the country is recording triple digits in confirmed cases in a single day.

Larry said the government has been forced to use its National playing field in Kampala as a makeshift facility.

We use this facility to keep people with mild and not serious complications of the virus said a doctor during an interview.

Lately, Uganda has gone into partial lockdown for the next 42 days, after President Yoweri Museveni closed down schools' worship centers and banned all public gatherings.

According to the country's health Minister, Diana Atniwe, the country is suffering after it missed out on Covid-19 vaccines.

With only 2 percent of the Ugandan population having received the Covid-19 preventive jab.

The country has over 50 thousand confirmed Covid-19 cases with over 400 lives also being lost to the virus.

It seems that fighting the virus in Uganda has become a problem as many required to work from home can't afford to make ends meet.
