"It's A Big Tablet And Unfriendly. Let's Prevent Children From HIV." HIV Activist Doreen Advices

HIV activist Doreen Moraa Moracha has advised Kenyans to ensure they prevent their kids from contracting HIV and AIDS. She also shared photo of the tablets administered to children.

Bottle of ARVs as shared by Doreen

Doreen captioned her post "This is the ARV regimen given to children living with HIV. It's a big tablet and very Unfriendly to kids that's why it's difficult for children below 4 years to be virally suppressed. In 2021, let's prevent children from getting new HIV infections. Women living with HIV can give birth to HIV negative babies. I believe we can reduce the percentage from 10.9% to zero. Start antenatal clinics early. Adhere to ARVs. Ensure baby is breastfed exclusively for 6 months and on prophylaxis. We can end new HIV infections from mother to child."
