Our country is recording new positive cases. Like yesterday, our country recorded 20 positive cases from the sample of 3444 which is equivalent to 0.6%.
So far, our country have received more than 8.9 million doses of Covid-19 from different countries.
The ministry of health is still vaccinating thousands of people in different counties. From yesterday data indicate that Nairobi County is leading with 34.5% in administering Covid-19 vaccines. Also the ministry of health is facing a lot of challenges to meet it target of vaccinating 10million people by December as low numbers of people are responding and going for the doses.
1,837,810 people are fully vaccinated while 3,787,211 have received their first doses.
Furthermore, Dr Willis Akhwale, who is National Taskforce on vaccine Developed Chairman revealed that our country is expecting more Covid-19 vaccines before the end of this this year. Dr Willis revealed that more 6 millions vaccines of Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccines are expected in the country soon before December this year.
These are good news to all Kenyans who haven't received their first doses of Covid-19 because more will arrive soon.
Kenyans are encouraged to go for Covid-19 doses as soon as possible to fight this deadly disease.
Vaccines are very important and will protect you against Covid-19.
