The Country has no doubt greatly been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic that has continued to cause havoc around the world. The President announced a decision to lock down the country a few weeks ago following an upsurge in the number of reported cases.

The President however announced he will consider reopening the country once the Covid-19 curve starts to flatten. According to Lancet Group of Labs CEO and Medical doctor Dr. Ahmed Kalebi, the country is in a better place compared to the last few weeks.

According to Kalebi, there is a slight deep in New cases for the last one week. This has happened for the first time in 10 weeks. According to Kalebi, this bodes well for bending the curve if no new offshoots are reported.

"GOOD NEWS CONFIRMED from the full figures of last week showing a slight dip in new cases, the first time in 1️⃣0️⃣ weeks that we haven’t had a week-on-week increase while rolling daily averages also show a downturn. This bodes well for bending the curve if no new offshoots come up." He wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, share with us your thoughts on the matter kindly.
