Causes Of The Incurable Blood Cancer That Killed Former Mt Elgon MP John Serut.

Today, Kenyan News sites announced that former Mt. Elgon MP John Serut has died. This is according to a social media post by Citizen Tv News that read, "Former Mount Elgon MP John Serut succumbs to cancer at hospital in Nairobi, family says."

Upon hearing the news the Deputy President William Ruto reacted to the news by saying that, "Mheshimiwa John Serut was a firm, bold and vocal politician who served the people of Mt Elgon with distinction. He was a gifted debater, persistent and a fighter for equal justice. We honor the rich legacy that he leaves behind."

Previously, his daughter Michelle Serut disclosed in a twitter post that he was suffering from multiple myeloma a type of blood cancer.

Multiple myeloma is a cancer that forms in a type of white blood cell called a plasma cell. According to factors such as a person's age, race, exposure to radiation or chemicals, personal history and gender affect whether a person will be affected with blood cancer or not.
