Today the Ministry of Health has reported 369 Covid 19 positive cases from a sample size of 4,469 within the last 24 hours. This is unlike the past days when the country was still under lockdown, especially yesterday when a total number of 735 positive cases were reported. Covid 19 positivity rate now stand at 8.3 % which is a bit promising.
This is a good news to Kenyans especially students and parents who are getting ready for learning activities. If this continues this way, then parents would not hesitate allowing their children back to school on the required date, from 10th may. They would be assured of their children health safety as Covid 19 positive cases decreases.
19 death cases have been reported within the last 24 hours raising the death toil to 2763. We say sorry to the affected families and friends of the deceased. 72 more patients have also recovered from the same, some in hospitals and others at home.
We thank the Ministry of Health for doing their best at this moment to ensure kenyans life back to normal.
