The vocal politician through her social media pages has said that the team has paid her a visit call over covid preparedness ahead of the Mashujaa day celebration later next month.
She has further shown her appreciation citing that she welcomes them on the progress on their support in increasing the vaccination in the county.
"I recieved Major General Maariti and his delegation from National Multi-Agency advisory command center on COVID-19. The team paid me a courtesy call to review our COVID preparedness ahead of Mashujaa day.
I appraised them on our progress and welcomed their support in increasing vaccination." she has said on her Facebook page.
This has elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans on social media whom most am urged her to fully join UDA party affiliated to the Deputy president William Ruto.
This comes hours after the Kirinyaga Governor has given the clearest indication yet that she is considering joining the Deputy President William Ruto-led United Democratic Alliance (UDA) to seek re-election under the party’s ticket.
Waiguru made the suggestion on Wednesday while addressing members of public at Thiba area in Mwea Constituency.
The Governor asked the crowd whether they would re-elect her as Governor of Kirinyaga County and they responded on the affirmative.
