Speaking during the burial of Mavoo MCA Late Ronald Habel Sagulani Burial, Dr.Naomi warned people against being careless, citing that Covid-19 was all over.
According to her, she failed to visit Late Sagurani who died of Covid-19 complications, said that she and her employees at their offices in Nairobi contracted the virus but by mercies of God they got all healed.
She further opened that suffering from Diabetes, she had to receive the Covid-19 vaccine as that was the only way she could have beaten the virus.
Pleading, she requested residents of Taita Taveta and particularly Mavoo ward not to fear receiving the jab. For them to beat the virus, Shabaan said that the jab is a very important vaccine that no one should give a blind eye especially if they are suffering from any chronical diseases.
Currently, as at Yesterday, Coronavirus cases in Kenya have increased by 646 in the last 24 hours from a sample size of 6,039 tested.
Statistics further revealed 343 females ,303 males, and 26 are foreigners contracted the virus.
With the positivity rate at 10.7 per cent, the Health CS Mutahi Kagwe has called upon Kenyans to continue following the government directives.
He further urged Kenyans to take advantage of the availability of Covid-19 jabs to get vaccinated.
