Worrying Number of Kenyans Who Have Died in Saudi Arabia From Cardiac Arrest

For years Kenyans have been traveling to middle East countries especially Saudi Arabia despite warning from government.

Report released by Saudi Arabia government indicate 89 Kenyans majority being domestic worker died of cardiac arrest.

Foreign affairs principal secretary kamau Macharia tabled the report to National Assembly.According to report 48 Kenyans died last year and 41 Kenyans died this year.

The Number of stack Kenyans in the Saudi Arabia has also shoot up from 883 in 2019 to 1025 in 2020.The principal Secretary requested the committee to conduct autopsies on bodies to determine the cause since cardiac arrest could not have affected everybody.

MP of Belgut Hon koech asked how 89 Kenyans died of specific disease.The PS agreed with MPs that all the death cannot be as result of common disease

PS also pointed a fingure to ministry of labour and the National Employment Authority that they should check the report to know the truth.
