In the past few weeks, India has been hitting the airwaves for all the wrong reasons, in some shocking viral videos, many were seen burning lots of bodies in crematoriums.
The action by Tanzania has been reached upon days after Kenya suspended all the flights in and out of the said area last Saturday.
Tanzanian which was previously under the leadership of the late, John Pombe Magufuli did close to nothing to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.
However, after Magufuli's untimely demise, president Samia Suluhu Hasan who took over seems to have changed the tune about the state of Covid-19 in the country.
Previously the country recorded no case of the deadly virus with the skeptic late president saying that a concoction of some lemons would kill the virus.
Samia has however come into power with a different strategy and she was even quoted saying she was ready to take action after advice from experts on Covid-19.
The state of Covid-19 in India is still worrying with deaths reported on a daily basis.
India has recovered over 20 million Covid-19 cases, with over 200 thousand people succumbing to the same virus.
This has led to a medical crisis in the region as hospitals get full of sick persons.
