Two of the most powerful cabinet Secretaries serving the Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta's cabinet met on Tuesday during a top event.
The two are the Cabinet Secretaries Mutahi Kagwe in charge of the Ministry of Health and his colleague who is incharge of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government programs CS Fred Matiang'i.
The two net in Nairobi's Mathari hospital which is along the Thika Superhighway and their meeting was in regard to the government's investment in the facility towards provision of quality mental care.

The two cabinet Secretaries witnessed Covid-19 vaccination drive at the mental hospital. According to the Ministry of Interior, the institution has already hit 100% vaccination target for mentally ill offenders and secured more doses for priority staff including health care workers, teachers, security officers, clergy and the elderly.
CS Fred Matiang'i has noted that the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Health are partnering to improve facilities and services at the mental hospital.
He has also disclosed that the hospital hosts the Maximum Security Unit for Mentally ill offenders and that it is the only referral institution specialising in mental health and psychiatry training in Kenya.
