The impact of covid-19 pendamic has affected many people in different ways. We have witnessed most factories and industries being closed. On other side, curfew hours and lockdown has interfered with traders thus making it difficult for most families to put food on the table.
However, apart from coronavirus, we have other killers diseases that are affecting people globally either directly or indirectly like cancer and HIV/AIDS. These two diseases so far has no cure. With HIV we only have ARVs that reduces the pain and improves the immunity of an individual with HIV virus.
However, today's Star News paper has delivered good news to individuals suffering from AIDS, according to the reports, World Health Organization tends to introduce a month pill HIV prevention if KEMRI Approves. This will be good to HIV individuals when compared to current drugs that are taken on daily basis.
What do you think the act of world health organization coming up with one month pill of HIV/AIDS prevention drugs in Kenya? Drop your opinion in comment section.
