Foods You Should Start Eating If You Have Stomach Ulcers And You Want To Be Safe And Happy

Stomach sores are wounds in your stomach lining. You develop ulcers when acids from your food cause some damage to your stomach’s wall. Stomach ulcers are also caused by Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) and the use of painkillers called nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs.

Ulcers are really affective thus can cause a lot of damage to your stomach and the entire digestive system. The food you eat when you discover that you have a stomach ulcer makes a world of difference in preventing pain and ensuring it doesn’t exacerbate.

The following foods should be taken if you discover you have stomach ulcers:

1. Honey:

Honey is a good substitute for sugar. It is a miraculous food substance derived from the nectar of bees. Honey contains certain antibacterial and antioxidant qualities that stops H. Pylori bacteria growth.

If you do not have diabetes, you can use honey instead of sugar and it will soothe your stomach. Remember honey is sugar balanced; in other words, it has neutralized sugar - thus no effect at all. Try it and never regret later because it has all that you need in your stomach lining and ulcer treatment.

2. Garlic:

Different clinical trials on animals show that garlic stops H. Pylori from growing.

Garlic has a bad aftertaste and smell, so you do not have to chew it raw. Using garlic in meals; taking garlic tea or garlic extract or supplements is a viable option.

Ask your doctor to be sure that garlic does not conflict with any other medication you might be on. They are just onions but but of a different nature. They are white in colour too. The more you use them, you are likely to be ulcer free with time became they are made in such a way that they neutralize the acidic effects in the stomach linings.

3. Greens And Vegetables:

Many vegetables like broccoli, collard greens, spinach and vegetables contain vitamin A and vitamin A increases mucus in the gastrointestinal tract which is good if you have an ulcer.

More of green vegetables really play a great role in body parts other than the common role of protection against diseases they play. In short, use green vegetables in plenty and avoid excessive proteins if you are affected with ulcers please.

4. Cranberry Juice:

Cranberries contain polyphenols that are good for your all around health. But when it comes to your stomach, they reduce the rate at which H. Pylori is produced and also reduce inflammation in your stomach lining.

5. Yoghurt:

Yoghurts are also called probiotics. Yoghurts are high in dietary fibre. Probiotics contain bacteria and yeasts which are microorganisms that your stomach needs to prevent the growth of H. Pylori.

Normalize taking yoghurt whenever you get money at least 3 times a week. It is very important for your health sake; especially with the attack of ulcer infections.
