Governor George Natembeya Blocks All Dead Bodies From Uganda From Entering Kenya

Due to the outbreak of Ebola in Uganda, the governor for Trans Nzoia County, honourable Georgia Natembeya, has issued a directive to all morgues within the county to abstain from accepting dead bodies from Uganda.

As a way of mitigating the spread of Ebola in Kenya, George Natembeya has decided to follow this direction since the disease can also be spread out by the dead body through physical contact.

Nonetheless, all Kenyans who die in Uganda while attending to their duties will not be accepted in any morgue within Trans Nzoia County. George Natembeya said that the morgues in Uganda are professional enough to handle those bodies until the spread of Ebola is contained in Uganda.

Governor George Natembeya only allows the dead bodies whose cause of death are not Ebola. He advised all health care workers in Trans Nzoia County to be more vigilant while receiving any dead dead body in the morgue.

Moreover, George Natembeya advised all health care workers to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) while touching dead bodies or sick patients.
