Doctors are the backbone of any country and this is why they should always be well taken care of to ensure that people who fall sick end up in the right hands and they can go right back to building the economy.
According to reliable reports Machakos County this afternoon, there have been protests by medics in the biggest hospital in the county over what they have termed as poor terms of service as per the reports.
The medics are said to have downed their tools a few moments ago and now they are protesting over the working conditions at the Level 5 Hospital facility.
Patients have been left stranded at the institution and are only waiting for a word from the medics to see if they can be attended to which seems highly unlikely.
Reports suggest that the medics at the Machakos Level 5 Hospital in Machakos County, are still busy with the protests.
The hospital's management has not yet responded to the claims by the medics who are demanding better terms of service.
It remains to be seen how the situation will be resolved so that they can resume work.
