The Ministry of Health is headed by the Cabinet Secretary of Health Her Excellency Susan Nakhumicha has this night sent a message concerning the state of COVID-19 in the country.
In the last 24 hours, the Cabinet Secretary of Health has informed Kenyans that 98 people tested positive for the virus. The source has reported that 815 people were tested for the virus.
22 of the new cases ate from Nairobi County, Kilifi 13, Nakuru and Kitui 11, Siaya 6, Nyeri, Uasin Gishu, Kiambu and Kericho has 5 cases, Kisumu 4, Meru and Narok 3 cases, Busia and Kakamega 2 cases and finally Mombasa 1 case.
No death was reported and 90 patients have recovered from the virus 88 of the new cases are from home based care program and 2 from various health care facilities.
24 patients are currently in the health care facilities. 769 patients are in the home based isolation and care program.
