According to the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 symptoms brought by the Omicron variant can last for about 7 or 14 days. Omicron is different from the other variants and this is seen in the symptoms that come with it. Omicron virus incubates faster than the Delta form and this results in the signs and symptoms lasting for a shorter period. Exceptions are with severe cases where recovery will take six months if the brain, kidneys, heart and lungs.
