Few weeks after Uhuru Kenyatta launched curfew and lockdown, Kenyans are still suffering a huge blow as covid-19 cases are still increasing. Kenyatta made this decision out of the previous pathetic situation which was witnessed in our country. Following the latest news update today, Kenya has recorded 904 new cases, bringing the number of patients to be 154,392. According to the ministry of education, the curve has not yet flattened, which cuts off the hopes of many Kenyans concerning the idea of being allowed to travel freely in and out of the locked counties.
There was a decrease in the number of cases through the last three days, but this is becoming worse as covid-19 is still becoming rampant. CS Mutahi Kagwe had announced that there is a challenge in importing the vaccine, which now puts the lives of many Kenyans in danger. Kenyatta might not open these counties because this may lead to the spread of this disease.
Kenyans should observe all directives which were being given by the ministry of health, to ensure that they are healthy. There had emerged a story about some MCA's who was in ICU, and later on reports about how their health statuses are was not given out. What are your comments on this issue?
