The ministry of health has been working hard, day by night to ensure that Kenya is able to conquer the deadly pandemic that has been a threat to the entire world. Through the help of the government, the ministry of health has tried its best and as at now, the covid-19 situation in the country seems to have improved because the positivity rate has not increased.

In spite of this struggle, the ministry still records a number of positive cases but not as high as it was in the past days. Today the ministry of health has reported that 195 people tested positive for the disease. According to the report, the ministry of health announced that the positive cases were from a sample size of 5, 859 who were tested in the past twenty four hours. The ministry of health added that the total number of confirmed positive cases is now at 101,534.

On a positive note, the ministry of health announced that 125 patients had recovered from the disease in the past twenty four hours. Out of the 125, 45 patients were from the home based isolation care while the remaining 80 were from various health facilities. Unfortunately, three people succumbed to the disease hence an increase in the fatalities to 1,776.
