This happens at a time Uganda is experiencing a surge in the daily covid-19 infection which has made several government officials to seek for medical attention in different countries around the world including the neighbouring country Kenya.
According to the information shared by the NTV Uganda on their social media platforms, before the covid-19 pandemic struck Uganda, the goverment doled out billions of shillings to treat top government officials and their families in first - world hospital around the world.
The country's national assembly speaker Jakob Oulanyah was last week flown to Europe to seek medical care. The cause of his illness has however not been disclosed.
Akai stated that Kainerugaba has been in hospital for three days now even though the source of his illness is not yet disclosed.
"Confirmed, Museveni's son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba has been at Nairobi hospital in a critical state for the past three days," Alai said.
Kainerugaba was recently appointed the commander Uganda's land forces by president Yoweri Museveni
