Health Ministry CS Mutahi Kagwe has now reported that the government of Kenya will have no option but come up with ways of preventing an exponential rise in the number of Coronavirus infection cases, as is the case in the Republic of India.
Addressing kenyans during an exclusive interview with Citizen Tv, the CS has reported that they (The Ministry of Health officials) have met a few hours ago and came up with some measures which will be announced tomorrow in the afternoon during the National Daily briefings.
When asked about the details of the anticipated address to the nation, CS Mutahi Kagwe announced that they are planning to announce tough Covid-19 measures such as abrupt closure of all border points and ban of travel from the infected countries such as India amongst many others.
"We may review passenger flights between Kenya and India and make another decision when they flatten the curve. We will communicate this tomorrow," CS Mutahi Kagwe announced.
In regards to the coronavirus pandemic status in Kenya, the Cs has reported that nobody should be seen joking with the Ministry of Health measures because any gains made could be reversed within a twinkling of an eye.
