Sombre mood engulfed Kiamuturi village, Kitu ward in Mathioya constituency as Winnie Mukami was being laid to rest.
Winnie Mukami was a former NTV news anchor, sources revealed that she succumbed to Covid-19 related complications while receiving treatment at the Hospital. Her funeral program was streamed online by Hungara TV. Murang'a women representative identified as Sabina Chege and other politicians were also present at the function.
