18 Deaths, 911Test Positive As The Country Records High Positivity Rate.

The ministry of health has released today updates Covid19 cases. A total of 911 people tested positive to the virus out if 6045 sample test in the last 24 hours.The ministry revealed that be 18 patients succumbed to the virus making the total death toll to be at 2224 since the first case was reported in the country last year March.
The country is operating at the positivity rate of 15.1%. The ministry has urged citizens to observe the health protocols even they celebrate the Easter Holidays. The ministry has called upon the county governments to help in the fight of them deases by making up proper arrangements in county hospitals.
On lifting the lockdown, president Uhuru kenyatta said the goverment will consider once the positivity rate is below 5% as advised by WHO.
The goverment recently outlawed the use of Sputnik V vaccine that had been imported by the private hospitals because it has not been approved by World Health Organisation as safe to be used.
