From January 2022, vaccination will be open to all adults of ages 18 and above, Ministry of Health Says.
This will target the Kenya's adult population between the ages of 18 and above.
Kenya is said to have received more than 5,146,780 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines and has fully vaccinated more than 827,000 citizens.
A total of 3,351,109 COVID-19 vaccines had been administered across the country, 2,492,173 being first doses while 858,936 are second doses.
Kenya's Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said on Sunday that it has registered 234 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the country's total confirmed cases to 246,530.
492 citizens have recovered from the Covid-19 disease bringing the total number of recoveries to 237,295.
Also, 9 people lost their to the disease. Total fatalities from COVID-19 now raised to 4,989.
