Good News to Kenya As United Kingdom Removes Kenya From Covid-19 Red List

United Kingdom has today removed Kenya from the redlist in the revised covid-19 travel restriction. United kingdom had put Kenya on redlist in April this year following the surge in Covid-19 in the country.

The move was attributed to reduced rate of Covid-19 infections in the country and mass vaccination drive in the country. "KENYA removed from the UK redlist in revised COVID-19 travel regulations; changes to take effect on Wednesday," read the statement.

This happens at a time Kenya has recorded 444 new cases of Covid-19 infections from a sample size of 7,511people. The country recorded a positivity rate of 5.9percent the lowest positivity rate since June this year. On bad note the death-toll hits 4,965 after four succumb to the virus.

The move to remove Kenya from United Kingdom red list is a huge relief to kenyans as they will now be in position to travel to United Kingdom.
