MOH Warns Kenyans on Mental Illness and Depression

There are different types of diseases in this world. Some diseases are transmitted from animals to human beings. Furthermore, other diseases are transmitted from one person to another through physical contact like Covid-19.

According to the source, Prof. Atwoli, the chairman of Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital have revealed that, high percentage of Kenyans are struggling with depressions. Furthermore, he revealed that many are not aware of this mental illness as many patients have been found suffering this illness after going to public hospitals. I quote his statement from the source, "Many Kenyans are battling mental illness, and are unaware of their mental status." Prof Atwoli revealed these details.This comes in after many people have been confirmed dead after committing suicide in our country. These cases of committing suicide are caused by depression
