Reasons Why You Should Avoid To much Ginger In Your Food.

Ginger is well known as a natural remedy and prevention for various illness. However just like any other medications it has some side effects when excessively used as explained below.

1. It can cause diarrhoea.

According to research by experts, ginger speed up the passage of food and stool through the intestines if consumed in larger quantities. This causes restlessness and weakness.

2. Leads to mouth irritation.

This is also call Oral Allergy Syndrome. This happens with larger intake of ginger where your mouth start to itch or rashes being formed inside the mouth and even swelling. This leads to bad taste or bad mouth smell.

3. When heavily consumed on a empty stomach it causes stomach upset and distress in digestion due to gastric stimulated.

4. Affects the heart.

Research shows that intake of large ginger aggreviate the heart hence causing irregularities in heartbeat. People who are under blood pressure medication are highly advised to avoid intake of ginger.

5. Consumption of ginger daily beyond 1500mg puts one at the risk of miscarriage. Pregnant women are therefore asked to avoid ginger during pregnancy period.
