After an intense autopsy examination government pathologist Johansen Oduor has revealed what exactly led to the death of Model Edwin Chiloba. Oduor in a statement released on Wednesday said that Chiloba's passed away because of asphyxia as oxygen could not flow into his blood.
The autopsy which was conducted at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital revealed that the killers of Chiloba used pieces of clothes and socks to block his intake of oxygen. They put socks on his mouth and blocked his nose with a piece of jeans suffocating him. The government pathologist however said that no injuries were found on his body.
""After the autopsy today, we found out that Chiloba was suffocated. His mouth and nose were blocked thus preventing the entry of oxygen. We established that socks were put inside his mouth and nose blocked by using jeans. He could not breathe thus leading to his death," said Oduor in a statement.
Oduor dismissed the early claims made that Chiloba's eyes had been grounded out. He instead said that they had just sink since the body had been hidden for long.
"Normally when a body decomposes you would think the eyes are removed but they are intact. His eyers were not plucked out," he stated.
