Renowned philanthropist Karangu Muraya is currently admitted at the Nairobi hospital.
Muraya, who is also a Kikuyu gospel musician, was taken as an inpatient when he visited the city health facility on Tuesday night.
"At The Nairobi hospital with my brother Hon Njoroge Thuo. Pray for me friends" he captioned his photo on a hospital bed.
Minutes before being admitted at the hospital, Muraya revealed he was battling diabetes after an earlier test revealed his blood sugar was too high.
"May all the spirits that bring diabetes come to an end as February winds up. I pray to you my God," he posted.
A few days ago, Muraya revealed that he was having pain in both his legs after they started swelling and making him immobile.
"Whatever it is, that is eating my legs should go back to the sender in JESUS MIGHTY NAMES. Last week it was left leg, today it's right leg. Dear Lord have mercy upon Ithe wa Muraya. Please just mention my name on your prayers," said the 'Gutiri Mugwi' hit maker.
His colleagues in the music industry such as Betty Wa Macharia, Nelly Wa Mummy, Ann Lawrence led hundreds of his fans in wishing him quick recovery.
"No weapon formed against you shall prevail in Jesus Name," Betty posted.
